Friends, it’s really important that you talk to anyone you know who bought bitcoin (or anything else) on Coinbase or another exchange and is still keeping it there, unaware of the shitstorm that is happening right now.

I just got off the phone with another friend who I helped get started on Coinbase a few years back and she had no idea that it wasn’t safe to continue using them. People have other things going on. Life gets in the way, and they’re either not paying attention, or simply don’t know what to do, or who to ask.

Help them choose a hardware device. Make sure they know how to set it up and withdraw. Tell them why you’re bitcoin-only, and explain your reasons.
