... you do realize your 24-words can be used with any wallet right? lol
so yeah if you can't use the hardware just use your 24-words to restore a different wallet provider, like the coinbase online wallet

Restore your keys on a reputable signing device like a coldcard or connect your ledger device to something like sparrow or specter desktop.
Be sure you are downloading the right software from the right source. Its always good to verify the software signatures before using.
