I didn’t expect the jump from gen 1 to gen 2 would be worth it.

It was.

Clearer bass (less distortion), transparency mode is better, ANC is better, and the volume gesture turned out to be very natural.

I have the max too, I’m a bit disappointed with the noise cancelling tbh but they’re not earbuds so idk.

I’ve heard a lot of people say they were disappointed in the Max. I almost ordered them, but figured I’d wait to see if there’s a second gen of them after reading reviews. The pros are my favorite Bluetooth buds though. The only ones that came close were a pair of $85 skull candy ones that were pretty incredible, but lacked ANC, and were less durable. Great sound though.

The max are great for the gym, and they’re very good in general, I use them all the time. I bought them after the pros so I was expecting the same amount of notice cancellation but it’s a totally different design so it makes sense.

Yeah you can’t expect that from over ear. How would you say the distortion/clarity was compared to the buds?

The sound quality is very similar, no distortion at all. The max has a fuller sound though toward the bass.

Hmm. Maybe after Christmas. 🤣

Definitely wait for the new version.

Just hope they don’t take as long as they did with the big HomePod lol
