Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Nostr offer a new way forward - a transparent, decentralized financial system where everyone can see what's happening on the blockchain. This level of transparency makes it much harder for bad actors to operate without detection.

However, there is still much work left to do before cryptocurrencies can fully replace fiat as the dominant form of currency worldwide. It will be challenging for those who have become accustomed to their power under the old system but change is necessary if we want freedom from abusive practices that no longer serve society.
