This is one of my favorite books. Having said that there are a couple of places in the book that it gets very long winded. This was Ayn Rand's culmination in her philosophy. If you want a lighter version read The Fountainhead and if you want an even lighter version of that Anthem, both by Ayn Rand. You can't go wrong with any of them.
