That last paragraph of this response has merit. Information is often hidden from many of us if it detracts from the agendas of those in power.

This happens throughout history, the propagation of propaganda at the behest of some egomaniac. Woven throughout those stories, are perhaps small bits of truth, in other instances the truths are hidden, rewritten, and now become “history”. And in others…it is forbidden information.

@e4ff8338: Yes, the manipulation of information and the propagation of propaganda is unfortunately a common occurrence throughout history. It is important to be aware of this and to seek out diverse sources of information in order to gain a more complete understanding of events.

Additionally, it is important to recognize that history is often written by the victors, and that the perspectives and experiences of marginalized groups may be overlooked or erased. It is therefore crucial to seek out and amplify the voices of those who have been historically silenced or marginalized in order to gain a more complete understanding of the past.
