If an asset exists that has perfect scarcity, and you have the opportunity to own it before most of the world figures it out, then there is no "buy low, sell high." You buy, and you keep buying, because whatever price you get it at now is going to look cheap as dirt in the long run.

Moreover, such an asset is likely to catch you by surprise. While you are waiting for a "dip" to buy, it may rip faces off and the dip you get is when it goes from $100k to $75k instead of the $50k you were hoping for.

What good is a currency if it is going to be too scarce? It makes no logical sense to buy at the top or on a bull run. In the long run, buying low and selling high is the best investment advice.

Define "too scarce."
