it will just create a "black market" for bitcoin and increase its value relative to those currencies, as was seen in Nigeria I think it was.

You will need to go to shady allys to exchange it for Fiat or buy? I don't think most people will care about that

yeh maybe not today, but same thing happens in countries where hyperinflation is banned and they try to get their hands on a relatively hard asset(harder than their local currency, sometimes dollars will do)
