You can follow hashtags so sorta, topics would be cool too.

I experimented with a topic classifier on nostr.wine notes a few weeks back. It actually worked alright actually but it’s currently a bit too expensive to run on filter as it uses GPT4 to generate a topic if it doesn’t fit any of our existing options.

We were planning on improving the classifier so it doesn’t need to ask the LLM for help as much but haven’t had any extra time lately. nostr:note1q6qt8afyeefluv5n3des8rg3hzytkt9ha3g44xm2g70lpwu5rc9ssd2fnl

My estimate for running it on the aggregator in its current state was about $50/day. I think we can probably (hopefully) reduce that by 5-10x with a lot of work.
