Your profile page will eventually show your photo collection, blog posts (long form notes), etc all separated neatly from your kind1 shitposting. These can all appear interspersed in your home timeline, but it will be cleanly separated and organized on your profile page.

Perhaps custom lists in the future can be set up to show only photo notes or longform notes from certain people, etc.

Not everything has to be kind 1 text notes. Having different kinds for different purposes enables many different filtering and curation use cases.

Nostrgram does that, is in my opinion a simple way to have high signal-to-noise ratio for the user

Having custom filters (and being able to bookmarkthem) that combines terms like hashtags, keywords and AND, OR nad NOT filters also is interesting for a more power user without sacrificing usability imo

I want photo posts to be their own kind. I don’t think nostrgram is using a different kind for photo posts? I think its a bad idea to pickup media from kind1 and count that.
