In 1958, #Priest Constantin Sârbu of Bucharest was arrested for his unwavering faith and resistance to communist pressure to denounce fellow priests. He endured brutal torture in the Jilava prison, refusing to betray his #brothersInChrist or renounce his belief in #God. Despite immense suffering, he continued to celebrate the liturgy in secret, giving hope to other inmates. He died in 1958 due to the abuse he suffered.
