Agreed.
Even on Nostr, too many believe they are entitled to other’s attention. The same people who are constantly muted across the board, continually complain and cry about free speech.
As for corporate social media platforms, their algorithm chooses what you see/hear. The choice isn’t yours.
Free speech includes both the ability to say what you think, and having the ability to listen to what you want.
nobody “deserves” attention, but plenty can earn it
once earned, tho, platforms still get in the way
