I’ve noticed some people I reply to never acknowledge them or reply to them.

We share much of the same relays, so I don’t think that is an issue? I see they also reply to some other folks on the thread, so I don’t think it’s a cross-poster issue.

Is there any other potential technical reason they might not be replying? Do some clients filter out replies to only show people you reply to?

Btw, this isn’t a gripe — I do realize and appreciate nobody owes me their attention. I’m just trying to make sure there aren’t any technical blind spots I’m overlooking.

Sorry, I meant filter out replies to people you follow. My toddler has my attention split. 🤣

They might have you blocked/muted so never actually see your replies in their notes🤷🏻‍♂️.

That’s a good point. Are mutes done at the protocol level? Maybe I can see who has me muted, so I don’t follow/reply to them anymore

Someone did post a link on here a while back of a site where you can check who has your npub muted😳, but i don't have the link to hand atm.
