Good point.

I somehow assumed who uses graphene does not use google services, that limits the usage of apps. But definitely not true!

So my question is specifically to those, who does not use google services, do you use another phone or you completely dropped the usage of apps like bank apps.

You can use the sandboxed version of Google Services shipped with Graphene, maybe on a separate profile, and with a throwaway account.

currently taking fiatblockers & in transition/still biphones/but hardening & still have apps but have not used for over 1+ yrs.

What hardenings are you doing?

cutting down on posible 3rd party probs

1. Banking apps can / do work without gsf. Yours doesn't? Switch banks.

2. If you need an app that uses gsf, install sandboxed gsf in a different user profile and open the app there.

The worst thing you can do is use stock android. If you're that lazy / laissez faire about privacy, then get an iPhone.

Never using the Google services.

Fortunately has found everything I need at F-Droid, Neo strore, etc..

Are you looking for something special?

Installing my bank app without play store. What "stores" can you suggest?

Ohh, I see.

My solution was just to access banks only from my PC.

In my case, the amount of stress has decreased a bit since I can't check bank accounts from my phone. Not to mention the increase in security. I think I would feel safer if I accidentally left my phone lying around.

But in your case, it might be necessary for you to check your bank accounts. So... I don't have a solution for that. I'm sorry.🙏

Unfortunately, many banks require an app for 2FA.

Or even the phone bank app is the 2FA. They make your phone as a safe device, and you have to approve your login with your phone bank app.

The solution is to use less bank, and more bitcoin, but I think it is a path.

That could be enough with Aegis

It could be, but they require their own app. Nonsense.

Just use the website
