I'm with you on the quadrant, it's what I see with my own friends.
They're about to retire, have superannuation and investments in managed funds yet homes not yet paid off. They borrowed against their home equity for children and holidays/cars/renovations, etc. Others do have their home paid off and are living on government pensions and some superannuation.
Others are young, just starting families and paying mortgages. Not wanting to move into anything non-traditional.
They are all super skeptical about Bitcoin. My take is that they heard so much FUD and after making up their mind based on that and mainstream media attitudes, the groupthink, they have decided to not investigate further. Until they are willing to take a good, long, second look and study, they won't be going near it and will continue to believe that my husband and I are nuts.
Didn't realize that Jeff was writing another book. That will definitely be worth reading. 👍
