Just talked to this 74 yo Chinese man on a walk. He’s my neighbor. Dude is tougher than a roach!

He was a heavy smoker and drinker. Till he got diagnosed with lung cancer. He recovered from the lung cancer, but cancer moved to his intestines. He recovered from the intestinal cancer too. Later he got leukemia, he still does. While he was undergoing chemotherapy, he fell down the stairs and broke his leg. He told me even when his leg was broken, he still tried to go out and walk with his one leg and a walking aid wheelchair.

Now his leg is all good. And he’s about to finish his last chemotherapy session next week, then he’ll be free from leukemia too. He’s still smoking. He told me I went through all these and still alive. I probably don’t have many years left, and I don’t care anymore. I do whatever the fuck I want!
