If you have a new BTC node to install on rpi, which distro would you use?

Raspian. ✅

You are right, raspbian is a distro not the BTC projects I spoke about. Do you install all the BTC component manually?!

Yes. But have used Umbrel in past is also good. Nevet got Start9 working well was too much of a time suck when tried it.

I've used umbrel in the past, and would like to demo start9 on a thin client pc a little beefier than a rpi4. but I think when I eventually get new SSDs, I'll get another thin client and install everything manually on debian

Yes I'm using Umbrel and it's pretty perfect excepting recent story about IP leak. I may have a bit of courage to install everything on a fresh debian 😅

Raspbian + custom install

I could try if I have enough patience but that takes way more time than the preconfigured solutions... Start9 seems to be the better Umbrel alternative 😄

NixBitcoin is great, never tried it on RPI but it's supposed to work according to the docs
