One of my favorite wtf stories is from Constantinople. As it was finally falling, instead of picking a weapon and defend their citadel, the priests were arguing about the gender of angels. There's something about the fall of civilizations and gender issues which is common even today. I identify as money launderer and esoteric terrorist. Also, angels have no genders.
