Don’t you think it would prevent some users from being incentivised for zapping?

It would be a big undertaking to integrate a monero wallet in-app and there's no NWC for monero.

This is something I've been thinking about, especially the monerujo aspect. They're not called zaps though. They're called embers, zap terminology in my mind are locked to lightning use

You might want to wait to integrate that until after FCMP is released.

The only reason I say that is because pocket change is fingerprintable on chain because it looks different than the average Monero transaction and FCMP will stop that.

Recent Monerotalk with Jeffro discussed it. He said since stresstest is going well and if they don't find major issues it'll be early next year when it hits mainnet.

Don't forget about the six month hard fork activation delay. So you're probably looking at something like July or August of next year.

Likely early next year if all goes well, followed by a six month period before it activates. I would think August '26

I see, maybe XMR is not ready for this kind of link, or maybe there is just some wallets that allow some kind of localhost connection.

If the latter was the case, I would try to integrate it that way, if not, I would really take this approach of doing stuff on the bg for he future when more features work on XMR
