I know that some people have some very liberal definition of capitalism as basically freedom, but that's not what it is. It says capital in the name for a reason. Capitalism is the doctrine in which the owner of the capital is also the right-holder of the goods produced using the capital. Nothing more nothing less.

The while free market craze is kinda misplaced because by definition, capitalism is a market disturbance.

Capital is savings, real value, invested in entrepreneurship to generate even more value.

If you support that voluntary system in state-issued fiat money, which also allows banks to have fractional reserve. What you get is something a little better than playing Monopoly with colored paper money.

You can't call this surrogate collusion between the state, the gang and big corporations (who lobby to intervene in the free market in their favor) capitalism.
