To make a long story short, Ruja Ignatova, the famous OneCoin lady, has been dead since 2018.

BACKGROUND: Operational information acquired
On 06.01.2020, during a meeting with "ИИ", the following operational information was received concerning persons from the criminal contingent.
The source of the information says that during a conversation with an acquaintance from the DGBOP, he learned that the person declared wanted through INTERPOL - Ivan Tanev "The Universal" was quietly removed from the wanted list.
"ИИ" suggests that the close contact between Christoforos Nikos Amanatidis (Tanev works for Taki) and Delyan Peevski influenced the course of the investigation. In all likelihood, the Prosecutor's Office was unable to gather sufficient evidence of Tanev's involvement in a group for illegal VAT absorption and the proceedings against him were discontinued.
In the continuation of the conversation, "ИИ" says that days before the holidays, one of the owners of "GP Group" AD - Georgi Vassilev Vassilev, ID XXXXXXXXX (in an obviously intoxicated state) told persons from his entourage that the wanted Ruzha Ignatova was dead since November 2018. Vassilev had claimed that his bhajanak (Taki) had taken measures to make Ignatova disappear. Amanatidis reportedly ordered the murder of Ruzha Ignatova to cover his tracks of involvement in her fraudulent OneCoin scheme. Ignatova was murdered in Greece and her chopped corpse was dumped in the Ionian Sea.
Shortly before he left, Vassilev had stated that Taki's main "hitman" was currently in a Dutch prison. In all likelihood, this is the person Hristo Hristov, nicknamed "blind". Hristov was arrested by the Dutch authorities some time ago with a huge amount of heroin.
The Bulgarian Ministry of the Interior remains silent on the case.
