Currently managing assisted pull-ups with a 35kg weight.

I weigh approx 75kg, so I'm pulling up 40kgs.

Can anyone advise whether it's reasonable to aim for a fully unassisted pull up within the next year?

I've only started weight training in the last 6 months and pull up training last week. I don't want to push myself too close to injury but I want those gains.

Maps .. middle aged pull up syndrome is a thing! Don't know your age or background but would humbly suggest ditching the assisted stuff and very gradually build up your static hangs for time then think about holds at the top then mid then eventually the full pull-up. 💪
