It depends. Ignoring them is sometimes best. Other time, they can get rekt.
Double-reverse troll. Pretend to be a naive victim to attract all the trolls away from the actually vulnerable.

Mute
A real troll is immune to shame or other feelings that would stop others from keeping at it. Do not feed them. Mute makes that easier.
Drown them in AI generated nonsense replies and make them waste their time

Ignore or mute if we can't bear them anymore. They crave the attention of the people that they have trolled 🙂
