Why does #Amethyst render certain things in notes that other clients don't?

For example, if I paste a note ID here, it will just show plain text on Damus, Primal, etc. But amethyst would render it as a quote post.🤔

This also happens with media. I host images on cloudflare and the links don't end with a file extension. If I paste the link in a note, it shows as a plain text link on Damus, Primalc etc., But Amethyst renders the photo.
