The crockpot is my friend, especially on busy days. This morning i threw in a couple different cuts of beef that i found in the freezer, and now its ready to eat. We'll be having sides of avocado and buttered corn. One thing I like about winter is it is the perfect time for a crockpot meal. Sometimes those crockpot meals are a little hot and heavy in the heat of summer, but I do crockpot meals multiple days/week in the winter because they are easy and work well to start before going to work and have dinner ready when I get home.
