The Supreme Court will consider a class action lawsuit filed by investors relating to the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica election data privacy scandal. As highlighted by the scandal Facebook (now with Instagram & WhatsApp) collects data on over 80% of Americans and sometimes shares this data with groups pushing voter suppression content which is then amplified by Facebook-Instagram algorithms. The FTC should break up the Facebook-Instagram-WhatsApp data monopoly as it has been shown clearly to harm Americans. 🇺🇸
