I feel like most people don’t even know what’s actually in their retirement accounts. What’s the point of having a 401k or a Roth IRA if you don’t even know what’s in it

When I had a 401k I was like what are these funds. Then I eventually rolled it over to a Roth IRA so I could self manage it then I sold all that stuff for Sats

Yeah it’s like wow I’m invested in the companies profiting off war and vaccines, paying expense ratio fees, just to still underperform Bitcoin
