Is this a worldwide phenomenon?
The level of service and motivation of employees in retail is such poop since COVID.
Went to Home Depot yesterday…asked an employee for help. All they do is pull out their phone with the app and tell you the isle (which I can do myself), with an attitude being annoyed you asked.
This isn’t 100% of people or 100% of my experience, but I would say here in the USA, it is about 88% of the time for me. I refuse to lower my standards and accept this, maybe because I have worked retail in the past?!
