I don't really advocate the unschooling path, and have only heard from parents talking about it on podcasts. Its typically just a temporary option for kids after they have been in govt school and need a reset of sorts.

We have a loose homeschooling group but our kids are still young and we may go other routes once we see what their needs and desires are
