oh shoot, so it installed iPadOS 17.5.1 fine, but my apps are gone (even after using a “restore”) I think this is because I backed up the iPad when it was on iPadOS 18, then modified the file to say iPadOS 17, rather than 18.

But now I need to manually reinstall all the apps :(…
