I'm just getting back to Nostr, and I have to say I'm not really a fan of Primal. I uninstalled and am on Amethyst.
I don't mean to shit on anyone's project, but demanding my name to send zaps is offensive. Even though I have my own Lightning wallet from which I can send sats, you cannot bypass this KYC step within Primal. That's the wrong direction for this ecosystem. 
You don't have to use the Primal wallet. I use NWC with Primal and my own node to zap from. Just skip that during the onboarding and go to wallet settings and turn it off. Done!
Isnāt this only if you use their in app wallet? Just connect your own with Nostr wallet connect instead. If you use the integrated one you donāt have to give your info
You know they donāt verify any of the info. You donāt have to give your real name.
