True scarce money has never been tried before , since gold had several issues from verification and transportation to coin clipping by the kings. True scarcity in money has never been tried in the history of mankind
Also to add the shitcoinery that happened in the form of other metals such as silver, brass, copper etc which were either mixed or used independently along with gold
