On September 16, 1985,, a significant moment in the tech world occurred. Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, resigned from the company.

However in 1997, 12 years after he had left, Steve Jobs made a return to Apple on the exact same date (besides year) he left. His comeback would lead to a renaissance for the company, resulting in products like the iMac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad.
