Ayrton Senna isn't just my sporting hero, he is simply my all time hero. I'm 47 years old now. I will never ever forget the day he died. I won't bore you with the details but that whole day is still very vivid in my memory. It was a sad sad day for me when the news of his death reached us in the evening☹️.

He was simply on another level. Like a God.

I'm pretty sure that you're aware of his qualifying lap in Monaco where he put it on pole. He out qualified his team mate, Prost, who was obviously driving the same car, by 1.4 Seconds. ONE POINT FOUR FUCKING SECONDS😳. To do that on ANY track is unbelievable. To do it at Monoco is just about impossible, but he did it though. He was a special special driver and man.

You might remember the chief medical officer of F1 back in the day, his name was Professor Sid Watkins, the pair, were great friends. Professor Watkins tried to talk Ayrton out of racing, he told him to stop. He had nothing more to prove🤷🏻‍♂️. Sadly, he didn't take his advice. Professor Watkins (He's dead now) was born not far from where I live. There is a World leading neurological center for brain trauma injuries named after him just 10 miles from where I live. Sorry, I'm just rambling now😂😂.
