Been seriously thinking pixel. Do you have to root to install graphene? Not familiar.

Nope! If you want to use graphene it works best on the pixel, really the only one they recommend. I think the extra privacy is worth the minor tradeoffs on hardware.

Also on OnePlus 7Pro here, lineageOS, it's nothing special but it's a workhorse! Camera sucks if you don't spend a lot of time tweaking.
