The mania is passing. I think it is suddenly dawning on people that BRC-20 tokens are not a store of value or even have utility. Just speculation on a quick trade and being part of a “community “.
Although the cat is out of the bag and eventually someone will come up with something that has a decent value prop if you squint and we’ll have to deal with it
There is no mania. Just a junk created by shitcoiners to spam the network! nobody is interested in this 💩 except scammers! This will pass on.
A lot of it was fuckery by BSV fuckers and spam by trolls who thought it was funny to graffiti the blockchain. These folks will get bored and run out of money.
But it won’t fully stop. This finally gives the NFT people what they always claimed they had but was a lie. Immutable sole ownership. It was never true, the creator who wrote the original token contract still had a lot of control but they do now, enforced by our nodes. Scarcity was a lie. My monkey is 1 of a 1000. So what, you can print millions for free on Etherium etc. But now tied to a sat and limited block space gives them that.

There are quadrillions of sats to put things on. Only 8bn people, so nobody will ever see it.
I think it’s some kind of self sabotage, where people (kind of knowingly) destroy their own life options rather than make earnest choices.
Some people whenever they get a windfall they immediately destroy it to subconsciously protect the life and habits they know.
