Please forgive me - I’m a couple brews in and time for a rant.
I live in a major financial hub, and it’s hilarious to me how many dudes I meet who “work in fintech” and don’t know the first thing about bitcoin. Like not even a sentence.
They’ve been trained to poke holes about the intrinsic value or the supposed lack thereof. But they have no grasp of the biggest thing in financial technology right now. It’s mind-blowing.
What else even is there in fintech? Stripe? It sure as shit ain’t FedNow. Venmo was five years ago.
NPCs! NPCs everywhere!
