War is tragic - every civilian death is heartbreaking. Israel has offered peace repeatedly, rejected each time. When fanatics embed among civilians and use starvation as propaganda while stealing aid, what’s the alternative? Give terror groups immunity?

Israel left Gaza completely in 2005 - no soldiers, no settlements. Palestinians elected Hamas, who chose rockets over development, terror tunnels over schools. They embed among civilians while targeting Israeli civilians. The tragedy is failing to see the fundamental difference between societies built on human rights and tolerance versus those founded on old religious fundamentalism.
