There were some hospital bills I didn't know about for 6 years because I moved.

In that case I just waited for it to fall off my credit because paying would actually hurt my credit score. Strange but paying starts the 7 year clock again.

Credit cards are different. They can sue you.

Whether they will or not idk.

For 36k it might be worth it just figuring out a way to increase your income.

I don't have any cards with 5k or up on them. My risk of lawsuit or wage garnishment is very low. 36k is what I'd end up paying g in total over the 7yrs, not what I owe.

Good luck garnishing my doordash pay too. 🤣
