Is it too much of a simplistic view to want to have smaller self-sufficient communities dotted around the country? What’s wrong with a local farms supplying local communities. And then communities trading with other adjacent communities? Have we become too “global” for this to be the norm? I guess it always boils down to human greed and the desire to rule and obtain power that ultimately corrupts.
