I think nostr:npub1h2qfjpnxau9k7ja9qkf50043xfpfy8j5v60xsqryef64y44puwnq28w8ch will be my go-to site for introducing others to sending and receiving bitcoin and lightning payments.

Trying to see what is the easiest, most seamless process for new Bitcoiners.

Of course there is @cashapp which is even more seamless but I’m talking sites or applications with a bit more privacy and self-sovereignty.

Would you agree or are there better options out there for newbies? #asknostr

Coinos seems to be a good all in one now with the bolt12 integration ⚡️

Awesome. Definitely open to other ideas but yea currently I agree with this.

We’re still so early which is the fun part.

Very

Remember some alternatives are not available in both US and UK/EU

A pan global available app is universal

Yea that’s true ✊🏿

Coinos is great. Yet mobile apps are more handy and no coiners will always have on their phone as a reminder. Websites get forgotten or deleted or cleared with cache. My first go to is nostr:npub1ajlrwgfj4yerhqf7ady03h7wmtk2qr3gs7h3sxcx83k05yld36sswpzx3q

Yea Aqua is solid. That was my first recommendation for a mobile application. It just if they lose their keys then it’s gone.

But you mentioned privacy and self sovereignty ;)

Non custodial I would go with nostr:npub13ljnkd633c7maxatymv3y2fqq8vt3qk7j3tt0vytv90eztwgha9qmfcfhw

Yea you’re right about that.

Comes down to what country you are in. In the US, I always suggest #strike to folks. The problem w strike is the ACH clearing time to fund your account. If that's an issue, most people already have cashapp or venmo (no lightning but does support BTC).

True that 🙏🏾

Strike.me has built in Lightning support and is an on ramp with the lowest expenses around, but is KYC and custodial. I don't recall doing KYC setting up Speed.app as long as the sats are acquired elsewhere, but I may be misremembering.
