big solar flare. aws was down. alby is still down.

i'm flying tomorrow, but tomorrow is the quiet before the next round of trouble.

what broke the internet today was the X-ray flash. on tuesday, then we get geomagnetic storms and potentially power and more internet problems.

and i forgot i needed the xapo app. can't install it on graphene. gonna just use the one i didn't root. the blackview is broken, i rooted it and now it refuses to boot. the motorola defy is the one most likely to have an incident with its battery.

i was going to just leave my other old cruddy phones but i have to keep one.

and i don't like it. gonna get a faraday cage for it.

so long now i barely ever took a phone with me, and now i'm like, ah crap this was the thing i didn't like about this. but on the bright side, i rarely need it - i can even just punt btc at it if the card doesn't work but i can see myself not renewing the account subscription next year.

anyway, so that's that. got the app sorted out, and i changed my mind about keeping the others. they are going off a cliff, after they get a good smacking with a crowbar.
