Just curious, why didn’t you come up with an original design for profile pages rather than copying every other social media site known to man?
because a big part of design is not confusing people. Familiarity is useful.
With that argument in mind, someone who had only exclusively used Reddit would not be able to figure out hacker news, meta filter or slashdot which is not true.
