Even though the shooter was a registered Republican, the MAGAs will pump the shit out of this, of course. However, I’m not ready to call the election, because the usual15% of mid-curve, low-information voters will, nevertheless, turn out. Even morons get representation in our democracy. What’s different this time is, when they get their ballots, enough might go, “Gee Whiz, Honey, a Kennedy is running! Who knew?” then throw the election, unpredictably.

Even a few percent Kennedy swing in one direction could change it all, as Ralph Nader did to Al Gore in 2,000. RFK, Jr. tried to win the Democratic nomination but is now an independent running as, essentially, an anti-vax, pro crypto MAGA, so who knows?
