On the way home i stopped by the store. Wanted to buy some cheese and pay with the self checkout. After scanning items and wanting to pay, the machine said the purchase required an attendant. I left the cheese there scanned and walked out.

I used to have similar problems at those walmart stores. Or lines that are overbearingly long as the store cant hire enough attendants.

This action... Leaving things and walking out such that someone else has to deal with it is the only way I can cause grief and confusion on why the sale wasnt made, without further wasting more of my time. No store attendant has ever asked. Im guessing others probably have done this protest as well, but it goes untalked about because.. time. If you work retail and have to deal with this, I am sorry that your store management and owners dont care enough to break down barriers. Lost sales are one thing, lost time is irreplacable.
