This is a nuanced, but important distinction b/c incentives matter -- you are much more likely to hear about the value of the nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl project via the latter, whereas the former is more concerned with realizing some kind of financial benefit from selling (or referring you to) a product.
Bitcoin product != Bitcoin project
I like the punk aspect of seed signer. Build you own, DIY.
It's OK -- stay punk. People who get it, get it. People who don't are on bitcoin podcast circuit.
At your next conference I would make a zine about how to DIY self custody. I think it would go well with your message. As long as you self bind the zine that is.
