Played pickleball for the first time today. Combines tennis and ping pong into something less strenuous and challenging.

I don’t get it.

New circus game when you're not eating bread.

Bite me

It's more of a social activity beats sedentary activities.

Perfect sport for this day and age.

No skill required and every 3yr to 90yr old is “great” at it.

More a game than a sport. But if it makes people move and sweat 🤷‍♂️

Sure I think it’s better than nothing but that’s a pretty low bar for a sport.

Have you tried padel? It's more demanding, and fun.

Pickleball is a blast and I don’t care what anyone says!

And I say that as a hardcore tennis player. (Which I still prefer but…it’s a blast).

I can see it as a fun social thing, kind of like board game night. Just not something I would want to do 2-3x/week.

To each their own!

100% fair.

The neighbors love the sound of it at 10pm though

Singles is better and more of a challenge

My daughter has just been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Pickleball has been perfect for us to exert a small bit of energy to help bring her blood sugars down while we figure out her insulin ratio's. It's a great kid's game. Great to see her smile after spending time in hospital.

Until I read your post I didn't realise it was an actual sport! Lol
