Been there. That’s out Marathon way, right?
Just east of it. We love it out here.
One of my favorite places is the Alpine/Ft. Davis/Marfa area.
We tried to stay at the Paisano Hotel in Marfa. Totally booked! Stayed at the Holland in Alpine. It is beautiful, too. Maybe not as famous. Because after two weeks of camping, I have to have my own shower one night.
Yeah, there are some real gems out there. Back in Marathon there is a kick ass hotel. Can’t remember the name.
