The "Dark Age" is one of the biggest PsyOps instigated by none other than enlightenment "thinkers".

Yeah, it wasn't actually that dark.
yeah, in fact, what really happened was quite interesting. the period we are coming to the end of now, that started around 2400 years ago, is called the "age of pisces" and the symbol of pisces is the fish (it means fish) and is plural, the symbol is two fish swimming in opposite directions. the first symbolises the age of Jesus, and around 1100 it flipped and became the age of satan. this is why things get more and more atheistic, more materialistic and more tyrannical as time goes on. we are at the end stages of this period now, but it's not likely to be over for maybe longer than any of us alive now will live, but it's going to get better.
one way or another.
especially considering that global catastrophe is probably just around the corner with the ever escalating appearance of auroras signalling that the earth's magnetic field is failing.
yeah, i would go a bit further talking about teh time period and the end point:
lao tzu and taoism appeared about 2500 years ago
guatama siddhartha and buddhism appeared about 2500 years ago
probably similar for zoroastrianism and sufism as well, the latter predated and continued on within the middle east.
only the jesus came 400 years later. even the dates are uncertain because there is no writings about jesus outside of christianity, but you can speculate that the timeline is not right, and probably it was around the same time, which is also around the time when the roman empire first started.
also, islam came another 500 years later after the supposed time of Jesus, but it was very much essentially an offshoot of christianity, as opposed to judaism, in the quran, jesus appears at least 4 or 5 times.
being that the main opponent of ALL of these religions is imperial power, it would be reasonable to assume that much of the history has been deliberately corrupted or hidden.
the same themes appear in almost all of these religions that appeared in the first 500 years BC. it's almost like they signify the beginning of an age.
i do think we are now at the last days of the age though. the saturn/jupiter conjunction, aka bethlehem star, which happens every 400 years, tending to mark the rise and fall of empires, was one of the closest of these conjunctions in recent recorded history. the earth's magnetic field is failing. the changes of a global catastrophe happening in the next 20 years is very high. such an event would definitely spell the end of empires.
it's notable also that certain people seem to know about it. a recent reissue of the silver liberty dollar by the main US coin mint features a symbol of the sun with a circle around it broken on one point on the right side, possibly representing the coming break super flare or micro nova that will be the trigger.
i don't think we have very much information about either the early days leading up to the appearance of Jesus, the preceding 500 years, or much of the first century, to about 800AD. very likely the knowledge already existed then, and has been since systematically destroyed or hidden.
the bible talks so much about the coming End of Days and the return of Jesus that it's hard to think that there might not be something in it, especially when you research more about other histories and prophecies from other cultures, like the Dogons and the Hopi and some of the older Puranas of Hinduism also have prophecies about this time. the latter, specifically the Vishnu Purana, makes reference to a celestial event, conjunction of sun, moon and jupiter in the last 1/3rd of the constellation of Cancer happened this year, june 25th, around 9am UTC.
so, yeah, i don't worry too much about it. except i want to move to the high mountains somewhere far inland. the rest, meh. outside of the big cities it's pretty safe still.
there is no homeland to defend anymore. but there is plenty of places to hide while still living in dignity.
Sufism began in the Middle Ages, some time around then 13th century.
About history being destroyed, hidden or falsified. It is always a possibility.
How can we know for sure that some monk in Constantinople did not completely reinvent Plato ?
It is easy to falsify records and all source for it.
I read somewhere a theory where they say that the Antiquity was mostly invented as a fanfic, like the Trojan War is based off the 4th Crusade.
You can't fully trust things you can't verify yourself and you weren't there when history happened, and humans can be wicked and untrustworthy.
some things are more clear but writings are the easiest to falsify.
the rewriting history thing has been understood for a long time, and it has a terrible effect on cultures, potentially uprooting them from their real ground. it's probably happened so many times and so little of what is claimed to be history, is even legitimate.
the catholic church, for instance, western europe barely even read the bible anyway, but the mentions of enoch are there in genesis and jude to be seen. western europe never saw these books since not long after the compilation of the catholic canonical bible and it wasn't until the 17th century someone bumped into it in ethiopia. and now most "scholars" think that the text is not legitimate, and/or they date it to as recently as 500BC
convenient.
you more or less end up having to decide what you are going to believe, or what you think is suspect. for example, the lack of writings relating to Jesus from his time, doesn't mean nobody other than christians wrote about Him, it could just mean that at first the romans tried to memoryhole christianity. christians held tight onto their books and so we have them now.
anyone who claims that a relatively commonly considered to be legitimate piece of historical writing is not legitimate has nothing to stand on considering this situation. the romans had an obvious reason to try to suppress christianity, because ultimately it was one of the things that ended their rule. first it broke the empire in two, and then completely destroyed it. oh yeah, some homo materialist historian will try to say that it was economics or the mongols or something, and these things had a definite role in the play but to say that christianity and the law that it posits is at odds with the cult of government... yeah, for a reason, and you can read it in several places in the bible what reason governments wouldn't like christians.
nothing has really much changed since then and i don't trust these "scholars" they are just grotesque parrots of propaganda, since that is what most of history is actually, in fact.
btw, that reminds me.
in the Book of Jasher, the aftermath of the fall of the Tower of Babel appears some very modern words that seem to be naming places like Lombardy and the Seine river, among other things.
this is a version of Genesis that is regarded as maybe not legitimate. but the section in the canonical Genesis is far less detailed in many areas, notably the adam and eve story has way more detail (it depicts it as though the Garden of Eden was an agriculture college and that they did 7 years training though after the theft they were more closely watched), and the parts that describe what happened after Babel and Sodom and Gomorrah are far more detailed as well.
since we fundamentally can't trust especially not long dead "scholars" in the employ of roman elites i prefer to go by the Jasher version of genesis, which seems much closer to reality, and Enoch also, makes it clear that angels were humans, at least by the definition of being able to breed.
this one thing alone completely reframes everything in the old testament describing encounters with angels, the "burnt offerings" and even the cain and abel story, the watchers in Daniel, and other places. people with flying vehicles, and high technology fits the description much better than hypothetical disincarnate superbeings, given recent history like the cargo cults of world war 2.
