Well, well, well. Remember those two 50 ft. crank-up towers in Colorado I was going on about a few months ago? One was offered to me before I left CO, but couldn't find a way to take it to New Mexico with me, and another was offered to me (with a big tri-bander on top, rotator, tower mounted remote antenna switch, a bunch of poly-phasers, etc.) after I moved. Again, I didn't have a way to get all that down here.

Well, I met a ham here in NM with a trailer who is willing to drive up there with me and get both of them, with one going to him for compensation. We're planning on making the trip in a couple of weeks, and then I'll be the proud owner of a really nice tower.

It'll probably spend quite a while laying on the ground though as I figure out all the permitting and what-not to actually stand it up and start using it.

Congrats! Please provide updates especially on your process of getting it re-installed at your QTH. Sounds like an interesting project.
